Jim’s Automotive Specialties is a family-owned auto repair shop at 18471 Repair Ln, Suite B, Huntington Beach.
Huntington Beach is home, and most of the cars we see belong to neighbors: commuters who put miles on the 405 every weekday, parents running kids between school and practice, and retirees who just want someone they can trust. Many of them have been coming back for years, and that's the part of the job we're proudest of.
Why HB driving is hard on cars
Life in Surf City is easy on people and a little tougher on cars. Salty, humid coastal air speeds up corrosion on battery terminals, brake parts and underbody hardware, especially for cars that live near the water. Short trips to the beach, the store and back never let the engine fully warm up, which is hard on oil and batteries. And stop-and-go traffic on Beach Blvd, PCH and Brookhurst wears brakes steadily. A quick look during regular maintenance catches most of this early.

Getting here from around Huntington Beach
We're in the Autopark center on Repair Ln, off Ellis Ave between Beach Blvd and Gothard St. From downtown and the pier, head north on Beach Blvd and turn left (west) on Ellis Ave. From the 405, exit at Beach Blvd and head south to Ellis Ave, then turn right. From Huntington Central Park, Gothard St and Ellis Ave get you here in a few minutes. Your map app will handle the last couple of turns: search for "18471 Repair Ln, Huntington Beach".
